Tessa and Heidi from our Inn are again putting together a team for the Washington Park Relay for Life, Friday July 22 through the morning of July 23. We are looking for more members and donations. Below is information about Relay for life and a link to our team’s website. If you would like to donate, you can go to our link or we will have jars at the BBQ.
RFL is an overnight walking relay that supports the American Cancer Society. Teams raise money and pledge to walk overnight in order to support the American Cancer Society’s many programs for all types of cancer. More information on how to get involved (or to donate) is available here.
Our last official Inn meeting and presentation of the 2010-2011 season is Thursday, Aril 21st at 6:00PM at the University Club (College Room). This will be the last meeting at the U Club until the fall, we will have our annual summer party in May at Heidi’s house, but this is our last formal presentation and meeting, so be sure not to miss it!
This month Judge Harrell’s pupillage is presenting. They will be covering Facebook for Lawyers, Considerations in Ethics and Advising Clients. We have applied for 2 CLE credits, one ethics and one general. The meeting will start at 6PM and end by 9PM at the latest.
The Chef’s Choice is: Grilled New York Strip with Red Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus and Red Wine Jus. If you would prefer a veggie entrée please let me know when you RSVP (remember fish is no longer an option per the U Club).

The Colorado Judicial Institute wants to involve the Colorado Inns of Courts in the nomination process for this year’s Judicial Excellence Awards. As such, they are requesting nominations from Rhone Brackett Inn of Court members.
Please take a few minutes to nominate a judge from our Inn or from anywhere in Colorado for this award. It’s your chance to be involved in the CJI nomination process! You can print out the nomination form and send it in, or nominate a judge online. Click on the form links below to open, save or print them.

If you bring a copy of these materials with you to the Inn meeting, and place one of your cards in bowl at the check-in table, one person will go home with a bottle of Jameson for St. Patrick’s Day!
This month the Arraj Inn will be presenting to our combined membership. Judge Roy has arranged for us to watch a Colorado Court of Appeals argument and then have a brief question and answer session with the attorneys and the Division. Afterwards we will head over to the University Club for dinner.
The exact details are still being worked out, so watch this page for updates.
